July Travel Deals & News

Welcome to July! Seadog Travels is diving deeply into the summer season and we want to help everyone get out and exploring. That includes deals you can use now and deals you can use later. Plus, we have new updates for you about some of our travel offerings. Contact us with any questions, inquiries, and to get you traveling! Now, here are the two July travel deals for the month.

We have two big announcements concerning our Bahamas Pirate Sail and Sensational San Diego travel experiences. First, our inaugural pirate sail in February 2024. The pre-sail pirate tour in Nassau is now an optional add-on. This gives options to our pirate lovers out there. Choose a longer or shorter pirate escape based on your vacation time, budget, and preferences. Either way, we want the pirates out there to join us on this amazing first tall ship sail by Seadog Travels.

Second, our San Diego trip is now available! Get the gang together for a long weekend in the Point Loma area of San Diego. Enjoy adventure whale watching, parasailing, tall ship sailing, and the best West Coast nautical adventure you’ll find anywhere. As with our other Island & Coastal Adventures, groups of 4+ save 10% per person. Except for this month, of course, where the savings are 15% per person! Read the San Diego details HERE.

Seadog Travels accepted into Visit Florida program

Seadog Travels is now partnering with Visit Florida to help promote tourism within the state. This partnership is through Visit Florida’s Targeted Marketing Assistance Program (TMAP). The program helps small businesses market and promote travel to Florida. “This is wonderful news,” said Paul Hardersen, Seadog Travels CEO. “Not only does this partnership provide us with resources to promote travel to Florida, but it will specifically boost one of our signature travel experiences, which is to the Florida Keys.”

Some partnership benefits include an enhanced web listing, discounts with Visit Florida’s business partnership programs, marketing consultations, and access to marketing information and toolkits.

“In particular, this program will help establish our presence in the state,” said Hardersen, “and will allow us to better promote our unique Florida Keys group travel experience.” Seadog Travels is offering a unique 7-day group travel experience in the Keys that is a round-trip adventure beginning in Key Largo. Travelers will visit many parts of the Keys along the way, such as Islamorada, Key West, Layton, and Marathon. “The goal is to highlight the natural beauty of the Keys on land and at sea,” said Hardersen, “and to share a more comprehensive Keys experience than can be done by visiting only a single location.”

Seadog Travels is offering its signature annual trip to the Keys in August, but this experience is also available year-round to groups who want to travel at different times of the year.

Seadog Travels has just released its latest podcast episode, Success in San Diego. CEO Paul Hardersen described their West Coast adventure to finalize preparations for the company’s latest group travel offering. Success in San Diego!

Seadog Travels had a very successful visit to San Diego, California, last week to finalize the company’s new group travel experience there. For four full days, we investigated the accommodations, vendors, and experiences that we will incorporate into our custom travel experience to San Diego. From Adventure Whale Watching and parasailing to exploring various dining venues and the entire Shelter Island and Harbor Island areas, we are now ready to put the finishing touches on this new experience.

“Visiting our venues to finalize plans is both fun and very important,” said Paul Hardersen, Seadog Travels CEO. “Understanding the capabilities and limitations of the various vendors we will work with, as well as thoughtfully curating an agenda that is both fun and relaxing, is the key to a great group travel experience. Items such as venue capacity, dining quality and location, and overall trip logistics must be well-known to ensure our travelers have the best experience possible.”

Seadog Travels new San Diego group travel experience will be ready by July 15. In the meantime, watch the YouTube videos of some of the fun on our trip:
