Hey everyone – we thought that now would be a good time to share the latest happenings at Seadog Travels. We’re glad you’re with us, reading this, and with us on the journey to grow the best ocean travel company around. To cut to the chase for those in a rush: the year is beginning very well, we continue to build collaborations and partnerships across the travel industry, and we’re excited to continue our vision to help people explore and protect the oceans of the world.

Cruise & Travel Events. We’ve begun a monthly series of joint online events to help people take a deep dive into specific travel and cruise venues. So, April is Star Clippers. May is Regent Seven Seas Cruises. June is Atlas Ocean Voyages. These are among the best in small ship experiential travel and they are among our favorites. Head to our Facebook Page, pre-register, and join us!

On top of that, we’re beginning a year-long marketing effort with Star Clippers. We’re very excited and grateful to be working with them!

Promoting Group Travel. At Seadog Travels, our continuing focus is on developing the most impactful, fun, and worthwhile travel experiences for groups of all types. That includes families, companies, affinity groups, friends, and any other gaggle of people that likes to hang out together. To that end, we are beginning and continuing relationships with Visit Portland (Maine), Visit Florida, and the San Diego Tourism Authority. These are among the destinations where we will develop travel pipelines for people to explore the best of these destinations.

Boating Season Is Coming. The year has begun strongly for the used boat market. We expect this to continue as we enter the summer season and people are wanting to get to the lakes, bays, beaches, and coastal areas of the country. Check out our continually changing selection of boats HERE. Check out this limited edition 2015 Nautique Super Air G23 Coastal Edition ski boat that we have available:

Travel Agency Service Upgrades. We are excited to learn that we will begin using a new air travel booking tool in the coming months. This will give us the power to book air travel for people and groups with the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of the big travel agencies. We are happy to be a part of the Travel Advisors Global Network and the Ensemble Network. These affiliations allow us to find deals at select hotels, resorts, and other travel providers in the U.S. and around the world.

It certainly looks like we are finally putting the COVID pandemic behind us as this year progresses. This is a relief for everyone and will help the travel industry to recover fully and quickly. It is now our job to promote a future for the travel industry that is impactful, experiential, environmentally sustainable, and fun — in a way that allows us to preserve our planet for generations and centuries to come.
